Have you ever wished that you go visit the Holy Land? I have always wanted to, but that opportunity has never come about. I guess I've always thought that being able to actually visit the sites where the Bible took place would really make the Bible come to life. This devotional is probably as about as good as it gets without actually going there. Over the course of 30 days, the author takes you on a journey through various passages of the Bible. He goes into vivid detail about the scenery and the location while giving a good spiritual lesson for the day. The great thing is that many times, something about the location where something took place actually makes a difference in the lesson itself. Overall, I loved this little book. It is very well written and very easy to read. It has great lessons while encouraging you to actually open your Bible and really study a particular passage. I would encourage anyone to give this devotional a try. It will encourage and bless you.
