Still Life by Dani Pettrey - book review

FBI.   Crime Scene Investigators.   Detectives asking questions. A long list of suspects who are as diverse as the City of Baltimore, where this story takes place.
Still Life is Book #2 in Dani Pettrey's Chesapeake Valor Series.   Book #1, Cold Shot, (here is my review link to that - http://mm-read.blogspot.com/2016/02/cold-shot-by-dani-pettrey-book-review.html) was an amazing adventure with a unique cast of characters.   Dani Pettrey has followed Cold Shot up with a story that is just as good, or better.  The group of friends are back - Avery, Parker, Griffin, Finley, Declan, Tanner, and Kate.   They are once again drawn into a mystery filled with murder, intrigue, twist and turns that will have you turning the pages to find out what happens next.
The Plot?   A missing model who poses as if she's dead.   A photographer who says he didn't take the shot. A friend, Avery, who fears the worst, and calls in her friends for help.   And then, there is you, the reader, who is drawn in to a book that is hard to put down because it really is that good.  So sit back, grab some munchies, and enjoy this adventure.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.  And guess what?  My reviews are always honest!  I loved this book.  I loved the cast of characters, the interesting plot, the twist, the humor, and the central theme that God loves you and wants you as His child, no matter how ugly your past may be.  So thanks Bethany House for the opportunity to review Still Life.  Thanks Dani Pettrey for another great book.

God Bless,

Marcus
