He tells of the moments at the hospital, waiting to hear if his friend would live or die. He describes the moment he first saw the parents of his friend and their attitude of forgiveness. He continues to talk about feeling God's call on his heart to follow in his father's footsteps to be a pastor. Ultimately, he left baseball in order to be a pastor.
